About

I am a 20 year old student based in Newcastle, in the north east of England. I am currently in my second year of study on a foundation degree qualification in Photography at Newcastle College. I chose to pursue photography while I was completing my A-Levels in English Literature, Art and Design and Photography at Cramlington Learning Village secondary school. Art was my favourite subject in school, the only A* grade I received at GCSE level and I expected to continue into Art as I completed my studies.

During A-Level however, I discovered that I had more of an aptitude for photography, despite never having studied it before, achieving an A*, while only receiving a B in Art. I liked the instantaneous nature of photography (except when experimenting in the dark room) and preferred it to spending hours on a drawing for minimal marks in my qualification.
